Description
The Senior Software Engineer position will work within LCIs' Research & Development team, and will be primarily responsible for developing our Supply Solution applications. The successful candidate should have experience building mission-critical, high performance systems using a variety of technologies, and must be able to interpret functional requirements into a coherent design and development methodology. Candidates must work well within a team environment and have strong documentation skills. A strong work ethic is expected.
Roles
- Design and develop high performance, scalable, mission-critical systems
- Collect and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Convert the requirements into high level design and low level design
- Analyze, identify and resolve issues
- Work with offshore team and yet work independently in onsite assignments
Requirements
- Professional degree (B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / M.Tech. / M.B.A.)
- 4+ years of experience in Java / J2EE technologies
- Excellent skills in Core Java, OOD, UML, XML, J2EE, SQL, Junit
- In depth knowledge of any J2EE Application server
- Very good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of development methodologies and processes
- Knowledge of PL/SQL (an added advantage)
